Ron Woodburn
Drums & Percussion
This Oklahoma transplant is a life long musician, originally playing the trombone. His interest in drumming began at age 12 on the landmark date of February 9, 1964; the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. His resume goes from high school rock and roll bands to playing trombone for Over Forté Orchestra and Pierre’s Capital City Band. A true music connoisseur, Ron also collects percussion instruments as a hobby and enjoys the range of sounds available on Latin percussion instruments such as congas and timbales. His encyclopedic mind knows more music and “The Simpson’s” trivia than anybody ought to know ( we don’t “Wiki” for info, we “Woodburn” it), and he seems to have more fun than should be legally allowed. He and his wife Glenda have a trio of daughters.
